QUESTION: I am on a fixed income and do not have to file taxes and I have not been able to qualify for a loan because of that even though I have good credit and lots of equity in my home. Help?

Answer:

When people are on a fixed income and have non-taxable earning we can in certain cases gross up earnings and some times as high as 125%. If the lender in question did not do this or cannot do this based on their lending policies, other can. If you would like a second opinion, let us know and we can recommend someone.
